Ocean Casino Resort CEO Terry Glebocki believes the benefits of having a diverse Boardroom are being felt and understood across the gaming sector.
Glebocki is one of three current female leaders of Atlantic City properties and that number was four until one of those properties recently changed ownership.
As such, while she admits predominantly female Boards are still unlikely at this moment in time, more and more talented female professionals are being given the recognition they deserve at Boardroom level.
Glebocki took part in the US CEO Special of Gaming America magazine and will feature in the January/February issue that focuses on Atlantic City.
The Ocean Casino CEO exclusively tells us: «I think more and more Boards, including gaming Boards, are realising the benefits of inclusion of females.
«I think it is unlikely you’ll find many Boards, in any industry, that are predominantly female, but given time I think you’ll see more and more females being invited into the Boardroom.
«There are some amazing female gaming professionals out there that would be very beneficial for Boards to consider. Diversity around the table is always beneficial.»
Be sure to read Glebocki’s full quotes in the January/February edition of Gaming America when it is published, right here.
She will be joined in the issue by Borgata president & COO Melonie Johnson, American Gaming Association sr. director, government relations Jess Feil and many more.
