Flutter Entertainment has announced the appointment of Greg McCaw as group director of inclusion and diversity.
The newly created position at the operator will see McCaw develop and oversee the group’s inclusion and diversity strategy, to ensure an inclusive environment for its employees. He will report to group chief people officer, Caroline Ross.
McCaw will partner with the board of the Paddy Power operator, as well as business leaders and human resources colleagues, to help identify training and development for employees at all levels, whilst chairing the inclusion and diversity committee to report on its progress.
In his most recent position, McCaw served as head of inclusion and people engagement at the Flutter-owned Sky Betting and Gaming, where he helped build an inclusion strategy, and prior to that role, worked for New Look as senior HR business partner for UK and Ireland.
Speaking on his new role, McCaw said: “Stepping into this newly created role is beyond doubt one of the most exciting opportunities I have ever embarked on. Already I’ve seen a willingness and commitment to developing a strong strategy for inclusion and diversity at all levels within this organisation, especially from senior leaders, where it can make a real impact.”
Ross added: “We want to build on our foundations to be a truly inclusive place to work, one where difference is celebrated and valued, because it is only when we all understand the role we play that will we really shift the dial. I’m really excited about what we can achieve together.”
In November, Flutter saw its total revenue for Q3 2020 rise 27% year-on-year on a pro forma basis, up to £1.33bn ($1.83bn).
